“Kids Are Talking: Local Teens Open Up About Their Issues”

In this discussion Dr. Donald Cohen, a licensed family therapist, and his co-host and producer Michael Bud will discuss the voices and themes of their weekly program Kids Are Talking™ (KAT). KAT is a live-streaming talk show that uses a therapist-led, roundtable discussion to offer middle, high school, college students and other young adults an opportunity to express themselves and their opinions in a safe space.

Dr. Cohen, a licensed marriage and family therapist, is an expert on issues of communication and relationships, and was an organizer of a teen therapy group. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Yale University Medical Center and an adjunct instructor at Fairfield University. Dr. Cohen is the author of nine books, including poetry and autobiography. His private family therapy practice is in Weston. Michael Bud and his wife Leena founded their internationally award-winning creative agency Square Squared over 20 years ago. They bring brand greatness to businesses through customized marketing, branding, web design, and online productions resulting in memorable brands. Michael also enjoys songwriting, carves subtractive sculptures, and produces an online improvised comedy channel in addition to KAT™.
