This Elf on the Shelf is taking time out of his busy schedule to visit the downtown bookstore on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Fairfield University Store, 1499 Post Road, Fairfield. He will greet youngsters in the Fairfield Forest children's section, listening to their special holiday wishes. Families are welcome to this event. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
