ou're invited to participate in the 2nd Annual Lucas's Reading Challenge!

Lucas’s Reading Challenge is a fun, family-friendly program created just for the Fairfield community in a special partnership between the Office of Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving and the DiMenna-Nyselius Library!

From July 1 through September 4, 2026*, readers can track their reading progress, explore new books, and enjoy the excitement of a summer-long literary adventure - with Lucas the Stag cheering them on.

How It Works:  After registering, you'll receive a link to download and print the Lucas's Reading Challenge log. Readers can mark off each book they read - any title they enjoy counts! We even have a few DiMenna-Nyselius Library curated recommendations to start you off when you register. A link to view them will be in your confirmation email!

The Reward: All children registered will receive a Lucas's Reading Challenge bookmark. Readers who complete the challenge - 20 books read by September 4th - and submit their completed tracker will receive a Fairfield University-themed prize, which will be mailed to them over the summer, and the chance to win a Lil' Stags Club Membership for the upcoming 2026-27 Stags school year (we will select two winners from all completed challenges).
