"Nathan Englander Talks Novels, Short Stories, and Adapting His Work for the Stage"
Acclaimed author Nathan Englander talks novels, short stories, and adapting his work for the stage. Widely revered as one of America’s finest short story writers, the PEN/Malamud and Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award-winning author Nathan Englander has also written brilliant novels and successful adaptations of his work for the stage. He will be joined in conversation by Fairfield professor and National Book Award-winning author Phil Klay.
Nathan Englander is the author of five books, most recently the novel kaddish.com. His play, What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank, will premiere at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego this September. He is Distinguished Writer-In-Residence at New York University, and lives in Toronto with his wife and children.
