Celebrating the 20th Anniversary | Center for Social Impact and the Center for Catholic Studies | Kim Daniels, PhD
About this Event
View mapThe Center for Social Impact and the Center for Catholic Studies welcome Kim Daniels, PhD, director of the Initiative on Catholic Social Thought and Public Life at Georgetown University. In this lecture, Dr. Daniels will address how concern for the poor today takes on new dimensions—and a renewed urgency—as increasing automation and the rise of artificial intelligence impact workers, justice, and human dignity. Pope Leo challenges us all to remember that we cannot "safely disregard the poor," those struggling in our rapidly changing social and economic context.
This lecture is in partnership with America Media.
