10-11:30 a.m.
Art History & Visual Culture Alumni Forum
Dogwood Room, Barone Campus Center
Every three years we celebrate our alumni by gathering on campus to learn what varied career paths you have each pursued. The forum tradition began in 1997. This year, we will meet in person with the option to join via Zoom to enable all alumni to participate.

 12-1:30 p.m.
Luncheon honoring Dr. Katherine A. Schwab
Diffley Room, Bellarmine Hall
Please stay after the Alumni Forum for a special luncheon honoring Dr. Schwab as she prepares to retire in May 2024. The Luncheon will be followed by a tour of the Fairfield University Art Museum and part of the University's Historic Plaster Cast Collection.

Register: Please select the Registration button on the right and indicate which events you plan to attend or, if unable to make it in person, indicate that you plan to tune in virtually. The deadline to register is Tuesday, March 26, or when we reach capacity, whichever comes first. The luncheon, in particular, has limited capacity and may sell out.

Please make a gift in honor of Dr. Schwab: There is no cost to attend either portion of the day. In lieu of a registration fee, we encourage participants to consider making a gift in support of the Katherine A. Schwab Historic Plaster Cast Collection Endowment Fund or the new Arts Institute in the College of Arts and Sciences, two programs that are very close to Dr. Schwab’s heart.

  • About the Katherine A. Schwab Historic Plaster Cast Collection Endowment Fund: The Fund was established in 2023 through a $100,000 gift from Dr. Katherine A. Schwab to ensure the maintenance and care of the collection and support student programming that enhances and maximizes curricular engagement and research. The University has committed to raising an additional $200,000 to match Dr. Schwab’s $100,000 contribution and secure the Collections’ enduring impact on our students and institution. Download the deck to learn more.

  • About the Arts Institute in the College of Arts and Sciences: The Arts Institute seeks to foster excellence in visual, performing, and literary arts programming, involving dialogue with the arts, and emphasizing student engagement with the arts in fulfillment of the University’s mission. Learn more

  • You can choose to make a gift in support of one or both funds right on the registration form. Or, if you're unable to attend but wish to make a gift, please click here.
